Padlocks in India
This section on Indian padlocks is part of a series of articles about Asian padlocks, which began with “Padlocks in China”.
Most of the pictures in this section show padlocks from a private collection. The owner, Chandra Prakasch Vyas (Kanha), lives in the city of Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan in northwestern India. He is the son of the man who created this beautiful collection over a period of 50 years. The father is no longer with us.
